RIEN N'EST HASARD, MAIS TOUT EST LE FRUIT D'UNE PLANIFICATION PARFAITE ET INTELLIGENTE DE L'UNIVERS.
The universe is the most intelligent, coherent and perfect thing there is. Science and all the great philosophies have taken off on the basis of existing models of the universe. Certain skyscrapers, certain means of transport and even certain ways of life are the result of our predecessors' in-depth observation of how the universe works. From the height of their experience, they have established links that allow curious people whose minds are not cramped to immerse themselves in the same pleasures to make the most of their existence.
On the evening of the great A21 RECOGNITION CEREMONY held in Yaoundé at the Palais des Congrès on 17 August, Chairman & Founder Dr Raoul Ruben retired with all the leaders of the A21 organisation to Douala at the Best Western Hotel for a three-day conclave, three days of intense training to strengthen their managerial skills. It was an experience like no other - you had to live it to tell the tale. What euphoria! What energy! What a way the Chairman communicated! His speeches focused mainly on the key values that characterise a true leader. You see, as a leader called upon to lead people or groups of people, you have to show a certain detachment so as not to succumb to the emotional weaknesses of your organisation.
One of the keys to making a lasting impact on the people you are called upon to lead is to apply the leadership dance. It consists of walking in front of the people you lead as a father or mentor, so that they can see where you are going, walking beside them as a friend, so that they can take part in the journey, and walking behind them as a guardian, so that you can observe the evolution or growth of the people you influence. And the dance of leadership is to do all three things at the same time. That is, you walk ahead as a father, you walk alongside as a friend and you walk behind as a guardian and empowering leader. These three days were much more than just training, they were like being in a camp and experiencing an extraordinary retreat. Or indeed, it was a retreat, a conscious preparation for greatness, an objective visualisation of the future, especially a very near future, namely February 2025, when the organisation plans the A21 ANNUAL CELEBRATION.
Il y a des moments où les mots sont superflus pour communiquer ; ils entraveraient le flux émotionnel qui nous unit. Cette formation a dépassé toutes nos espérances : un véritable échange d'énergie, un lien profond tissé au sein d'une organisation qui pose les fondements de son avenir, et surtout, une ouverture fulgurante sur le monde. Sans connexion entre les membres, une communauté ne peut ni rayonner ni s'épanouir. Le ciment qui unit chacun de ces membres, ce sont bien sûr les valeurs qui donnent une saveur unique à la vie de chacun. Amour, entraide, dévouement, dépassement de soi, esprit combatif, engagement et résilience : autant de valeurs qui confèrent à chaque membre de cette organisation visionnaire un sentiment d'appartenance unique.
Ce fut un moment exceptionnel, empreint de la convivialité habituelle, et ni le Président ni les autres participants ne purent contenir leur émotion. Cris, chants de joie et proclamations : chacun exprima à sa manière une euphorie débordante. Pour couronner le tout, le Président et Fondateur, le Dr Raoul Ruben, remit solennellement les parchemins, attestant ainsi que tous étaient prêts à relever les prochains défis sur la voie de l'excellence. C'est ainsi que fut fixée la date de février 2025, grand rendez-vous de la CÉLÉBRATION ANNUELLE A21.
