Curiosity is what sharpens the human spirit and prepares anyone who has decided to follow this path towards the discovery or exploration of the new. Humans grow old, not because of the weight of age or years, but because they don't allow new information and new data to enter their minds.
Because time is the master of all, it reveals the sham that lies behind the existence of superficial people, but also the loyalty and integrity which are the true trophies of people with great souls.
It was in this unparalleled atmosphere, mingled with the euphoria and enthusiasm of the Senegalese people, that A21 Chairman Dr Raoul Ruben spoke at the very first A21 ORIENTATION of the year, in the prestigious Grand Théâtre in Dakar.
His remarks were true on point, and he once again reiterated the 16 principles of A21, which form the foundation of this futuristic organisation whose primary objective is to support anyone who wants to succeed by shortening their process, through tailor-made training and tried and tested methods.
HERE ARE THE 16 PRINCIPLES OF ACADEMY TWENTY ONE
1- Love: this is a natural, effortless connection that ignores apprehensions and judgements.
2- Investment: the energy needed to make a dream come true. This energy can be physical, emotional or even spiritual.
3- The learner's attitude: the state of mind of a person who is always thirsty to gather information, to keep up to date, to be curious, who gives himself voluntarily to research.
4- Attendance and participation in A21 activities: doing so keeps you away from distraction and idleness. There's a saying that goes: "to have nothing to do is to indulge in vices".
5- Reading the books recommended by A21: Reading opens your mind and lets you draw on the experience of others. One author once said: "to read is to live several lives".
6- No Crosslining: the Anglo-Saxons say it like this: "mind your own business". Crosslining is a cancer that destroys organisations, families and even businesses.
7- Discipline: this is the main characteristic of all successful people. Discipline also means never betraying your own principles.
8- Edification: making sure your word is impeccable is the ability to use our assets to appreciate the good side of everything. The world is bigger than our thoughts, beliefs and conceptions.
9- Protection: this means taking responsibility and making sure that what you do does not upset the other person's equilibrium.
10- Consultation: this means going to meet an expert in a field to get information. If you want to get somewhere, you can't go to a blind man for information. Mentoring remains the best support option if you want to succeed. A true leader is one who rigorously guides others to be like him or her, which reduces mistakes, builds relationships, strengthens skills and saves time, energy and money.
11- Humility: you will only succeed in life if you are humble.
12- Commitment: anyone who is committed is respected and worthy of respect.
13- Integrity: a lack of integrity is like a pebble in your shoe. Integrity also means applying the "zero tolerance" principle.
14- Gratitude: gratitude is what opens even the most unexpected doors.
15- Green Attitude: we inherit what nature has given us, which is why we must preserve our space and leave it as we found it.
16- Duplication: Ensures a standardized support system
With these major principles, which must be integrated by everyone in order to break certain hostile conditioning, the Chairman has laid down what constitutes the backbone of A21 and which also guarantees the success of all members on the fivefold physical, moral, emotional, spiritual and financial levels.
And because dynamism and proactivity go hand in hand, it's not a question of resting on your laurels and hoping that an unexpected miracle will occur, because the only thing that produces miracles is ACTION.
Every true leader is known for his ability to combine the power of action with the torrential force of the spoken word. He thus becomes a model for his devotion, and he can show others the way for having been there, and it was with this wisdom that the Chairman saluted the loyalty, integrity and fidelity of the Senegalese people.
